    • Connected with idolatry.

2 Chronicles 33:5-6 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD. And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

Thank you Pastor Collins, the Occult is a very dangerous thing and people do need to be warned, if Satan gets a foothold it can cause havoc leading to much suffering and heartache,t without God’s wisdom there are many things that can be difficult for us to understand in the Scriptures this is why we are to ask Him for it James 1:4-6 otherwise worldly heresies that we hear can confuse and distort God’s Truth and deceive us.

God tells us to test the Spirit of all those who seek to teach us because there are false and deceived teachers and so it was the same in the times of the Old Testament there were both Godly Speers and Pagan Speers, both were known as wise men, some spoke what the people wanted to hear, others spoke God’s Truth for His people, there was also false Prophets as there are today. How can we know if they are of God, all of His Truth is recorded in the Scriptures and is unchangeable, we do not need to use cards or tools as the Clairvoyants and Pagan Astrologers do, or do we seek out people who are involved in the Occult or trust in the things of the Occult, such as daily stars, magic charms, crystals, dream catchers etc. these are of Satan not God.

I feel blessed and encouraged when others share their God given gifts to build up the Body of Christ, sadly some do not accept that the gifts are for today, but this is ignoring Scripture that tells us that they are.

The interpretation of Dreams has been frowned on but what the Scriptures were referring to when they gave this warning were fleshy dreams and interpretations not Godly ones like Joseph, Daniel and others in the Scriptures had or revealed the Truth of them. Still there is a danger when we remember most Secular .Psychiatry today and it’s mind control were originally based on worldly reasoning and logic having been birthed by Fraud and his delusionary dreams which were mainly sexually orientated, this may have been his focus as the Scriptures tell us as a man thinks so he does, and we are warned in the Scriptures about New age teaching as well as the Occult as they present much danger.

Thank you for sharing God’s Truth Pastor Collins through the Scriptures, may those who read them do so with God’s wisdom so they can understand what they read.
